Operations manager

Where will you be working?
You’ll be based at our modern office in Rotterdam (Christa Ehrlichhof 10).

For over 20 years, Oneway Bike has been a leading player in the cycling industry. What started in 2001 as the exclusive distributor of the German top brand CUBE in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, quickly grew into a full-service organization. In 2010, we expanded our offering with parts and accessories through Oneway Distribution, bringing brands such as Lezyne, SQlab, and Ere Research to the market.

Since 2021, these two companies have joined forces as Oneway Bike – one strong brand, one point of contact for our dealers, and an even more efficient logistics organization. Today, we operate from a modern and sustainable facility in Rotterdam, featuring 10,500 m² of warehouse space, 2,000 m² of office space, our own showroom, training room, and a cozy bar. The building is fully energy neutral and powered by 1,350 solar panels.

Your role
As Operations Manager, you will lead the logistics team, the technical workshop team, and the aftersales staff. As the person with final responsibility, you’ll ensure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and efficiently. You act as the connecting link between logistics, workshop, customer service, and sales, and serve as a sparring partner for the management team.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the logistics team, mechanics, and aftersales staff (approx. 25 employees)

  • Monitoring and improving existing processes, while enhancing service and support to our customers

  • Managing planning and scheduling

  • Preparing periodic reports

  • Analyzing KPIs and recurring technical issues, and taking corrective actions

  • Ensuring clear communication and cooperation between departments

  • Safeguarding quality and safety standards

  • Fostering a positive and motivating working environment

What do you bring?

  • Minimum of mbo+/hbo (associate/bachelor) working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or technical management

  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within logistics or technical operations

  • Solution-oriented, structured, and strong communicator

  • Stress-resistant and able to maintain oversight

  • Solid knowledge of logistics processes and systems
